Water Wishes

In the process of Affirmations, we discuss the balance of action and allowing – the ability to juggle both ‘doing’ and ‘being’ while finding the equilibrium point, as if a teeter-totter in a play ground. Regularly in our ‘doing’ society, we are guided to ‘do’ something to ‘make’ change – as if our manifesting is in our actions alone. Yet, the secret ingredient is in it’s balance with ‘being’.

Today’s global prayers for the waters of Japan is a great example. Inspired by and at the request of Dr Masaru Emoto, the masterful water researcher, this global event allowed everyone to join in from wherever they were on the planet for a special Water Ceremony to honour the waters at the nuclear plants in Japan. Today, at 12:00pm your time, where were you? What were you blessing with your love and support?

Utilizing a mass social media campaign to mobilize people, prayers and in turn energy, the aim was to “send your prayers of love and gratitude to water at the nuclear plants in Fukushima, Japan!” For what else can we as humans around the world do to help resolve the natural, now turned human disaster that started with an earthquake and may end far worse? For so many who feel ‘helpless to help’, this was our affirmation act of healing, forgiveness and gratitude.

The act of sending blessings, prayers and/or affirmations allowed us to contribute, support and care. The energy we intentionally shared through our thoughts, feelings and words directed healing to the nuclear reactors, the scientists, the rescuers, the people, the wildlife, the earth and the water.

Yes, it all related to the water. The mobilization of people was based on our increasing respect for the vital importance of water to our lives…to our survival, as individuals and as a planet. With its ebb and its flow, water shifts our world every minute through air currents, ocean tides and weather.

Symbolically, the ebb and the flow of water mirrors the action and allowing of our affirmations. Today, with wishes of love, people around the world actively joined in ‘doing’ a short-term, manageable act in service to the greater good of the planet. By sending wishes, we now ‘allow’ the affirmations to manifest, like the waves of the ocean. Today, what are your water wishes?

One Response so far.

Water is the second most important thing in our physical life cycle, the most important is air, as without it we expire in about 5 min. Without water about a week, without food 2-4 months. These are two things we are also able to actively affect. Cronic, subclinical hypoxia (low tissue oxygen levels), and cronic subclinical dehydration have such impact on our health, yet we search for a pill or potion or even the meditative focus of our will to get better. Yes it makes a difference to think possitively, but you must act possitively before real longterm benefits are acrued in your favor. If we breath well, drink well, eat well and think well, we give ourselves a real chance to be well.

Virtually every client with a complaint is not breathing well mechanically and rarely carrys a supply of water. If they also are prone to acidic thoughts they can be eating healthy and taking supplements with only minimal benefits. When the breath is shallow and rapid it can trigger or be triggered by the fight or flight syndrome. Our blood goes to the arms to fight and or our legs to run, this causes a lack of energy for our other systems. In the case of digestion it gets disrupted so food is not properly digested or assimillated with consequences further downstream, the endocrin/hormone systems suffer as well.

Yes it is timely to be blessing the water, but we should not just do it once in awhile we should do it before every drink we drink or serve. As healers we must set an example for all we meet as well as those we serve.

It is no measure of health
    to be well adjusted
to a profoundly sick society. (Krishnamurti)
